Damon Wang, PhD is the Co-founder and CEO of NuCyRNA Therapeutics, a biotech startup with a bold vision to transform RNA-targeting therapeutics, with current focus on neurodegenerative diseases.

Additionally, Dr. Wang has been deeply engaged in the biotech investment community. From 2020 to 2023, he served as a consultant to several biotech venture capital firms, advising on RNA therapeutics. Earlier, in 2018, he co-founded Bioeconomy, a venture dedicated to connecting U.S. biotech entrepreneurs with international investors.

He earned his PhD in RNA therapeutics at the UMass RNA Therapeutics Institute, where he specialized in RNA engineering, with a focus on siRNA, antisense oligonucleotide (ASO), and mRNA technologies.
