Dr. Eva Chin is Executive Director of SOLVE FSHD, a venture philanthropy organization dedicated to accelerating the development of therapies for facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD). In this role, she leads strategic investments, research collaborations, and industry partnerships aimed at advancing transformative treatments for patients living with FSHD. With more than two decades of experience spanning academia, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical R&D, Dr. Chin has held leadership positions at NMD Pharma, Cytokinetics, Pfizer, and the University of Maryland. Her expertise encompasses neuromuscular disease biology, translational medicine, and drug development for rare disorders. At SOLVE FSHD, Dr. Chin is focused on fostering collaboration across academia, industry, and patient communities to accelerate innovation and bring potentially life-changing therapies to individuals affected by muscular dystrophies.
