Nitza Thomasson

Nitza Thomasson is Executive Director and Global Head of R&D Neurology at Servier, where she leads the company’s global neurology research and development strategy with a focus on advancing new therapies for patients living with rare neurological diseases. She brings more than two decades of experience across pharmaceutical R&D, biotechnology, and business development. Prior to rejoining Servier, Nitza co-founded pioneering neuroscience companies BrainEver and GenSight Biologics, held senior leadership roles at Sanofi, Fovea, and Tissium, and founded NTZConsulting, advising biopharma companies on development strategy. She holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Sorbonne University and completed postdoctoral research at Northwestern University.
