Ricardo Mondragon Gonzalez PhD

Ricardo Mondragon Gonzalez is a Principal Scientist at Sanofi, where he focuses on advancing innovative therapies for neuromuscular and rare diseases. He brings extensive expertise in stem cell biology, muscle regeneration, disease modeling, and translational research, built through roles at Sanofi, Biogen, and Novartis. He conducted his PhD research at University of Minnesota and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications exploring skeletal muscle biology, induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) models, and therapeutic development for muscular disorders. In addition to his industry work, Ricardo serves as an external mentor to Posdocs and graduate students, helping to support the next generation of scientists. His work bridges cutting-edge discovery research with the development of transformative therapies for patients.
