Sweta Girgenrath, PhD is Vice President of Therapeutic Research and External Innovation Lead at Entrada Therapeutics, where she spearheads the advancement of innovative biologic and antisense oligonucleotide (AON) therapies for rare neuromuscular and cardiac diseases. With more than 20 years of experience spanning academia and industry, she has built and led multidisciplinary research teams focused on translating disease biology into therapeutic development. Prior to joining Entrada, Sweta held leadership roles at Boston University, Pfizer, and UMass Medical School, contributing extensively to muscular dystrophy and regenerative biology research. She has successfully guided multiple Duchenne muscular dystrophy programs through global regulatory filings and remains a passionate advocate for rigorous science and patient-centered drug development.
